This game is a near perfect port of the NES version, except all of the HUD has been moved to a seperate screen due to the smaller monitor. The gameplay is quick and fun, and the large number of items and areas to find helps fill things out. The biggest drawback is the cumbersome password system. A battery back up would have been a lifesaver. Overall a solid game, but because of the rarity of the Game Boy cart, and the system's limitations, it might be more worthwhile to seek out the NES version.
This Is a port of the NES Game Spiritual Warfare by Wisdom Tree. It is unlicensed by Nintendo and is probably a fair equivalent to the 1st Zelda! The gameplay is similar to Zelda and the game is just as long. All the different areas and puzzles and items to collect really round this game off to a fun-to-play and well thought out game. I have played through the NES version and the Gameboy version, and the Gameboy version is actually easier because you start out with 4 hearts rather than 3 like in the NES version... Also if you want full color in the Gameboy version, The super Gameboy adapter to your SNES works great OR just put the cart in a Gameboy Advance system and it produces almost accurate color to the NES version!
